His executive career is built launching and scaling companies to market success, whether startups, private-equity backed companies or divisions of large companies. He particularly knows how to build a business that moves with the speed of a startup even if it is inside a large company. Based on his penchant for technology (he’s a former aerospace and software engineer), coupled with his reputation for rapidly delivering results, companies turn to Stephane when they need an executive with strong leadership and relentless execution to drive growth. At Honeywell Ventures as President and Managing Director, he directed a $400M investment portfolio focused on software, software-hardware systems, sustainability, and aerospace turning Ventures into a key growth engine through strategic investments. Within the aerospace industry, as Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Aerospace's Advanced Aerial Mobility business unit, he built a $7B business and established Honeywell as an industry leader in this market. As Chief Executive Officer of Smartplane, Stephane defined a clear vision and developed a prototype for a first-of-its-kind semi-autonomous personal aircraft. Within the technology industry, while at private equity-backed Infrascale, he transformed a commoditized SaaS product into a unique, differentiated internet offering, now growing 100% per year. While at venture capital-backed Passlogix, he repositioned the company into a complete cybersecurity provider with #1 market share, setting the stage for acquisition by Oracle. His industry interests and expertise go beyond aerospace and software to include mobility, robotics, hardware, Internet, electronics, industrial and climate technologies. Stephane’s high energy is motivating. His leadership style and loyalty allow him to attract, inspire, develop and retain top talent, and build high performing teams and culture where innovation and excellence thrive. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is a licensed airplane and glider pilot, and an avid skier. He speaks French and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America.
