Summary

For the past 20 years I have been working in the field of international ELT as a teacher of all levels and ages, an academic manager, an academic coordinator, teacher trainer (both pre-service and in-service), a CLIL trainer, a CELTA trainer, and Delta module 1 and 3 trainer. My current interests lie in pre-service and in-service teacher training, developing projects aimed at training local primary and secondary school teachers, and refugee education. I am also interested in research assistant positions focusing on peace and conflict, conflict and education, refugees, migration, IDPs, and disasters and education. My Master’s studies focused on refugee education and my dissertation concentrated on using remote teacher training in conflict / post-conflict situations. Before becoming a teacher and trainer, I spent seven years managing people, projects and departments in the internet industry.
