Summary

BAFTA nominated producer with 27+ years of experience specialising in end-end production management across all hardware platforms, risk analysis and stakeholder coordination with a proven track record in managing and delivering complex and technically challenging AAA products through their complete lifecycle to deliver on time and within budget. I have an extensive skill set that includes production, design, technical, risk, team management, business development, finance and publishing expertise. A Brief History: In 1991 Steve started his first games company, Arcane Software Developments which specialised in producing game intro sequences and in-game artwork. In 1995 he self published his first game on the Amiga (Turbo Trax) to critical acclaim. He was then approached to found Micro-time Entertainment to develop the Pepperarmi point and click adventure, his first experience developing advertising in games. He successfully grew the studio to over 30 people and negotiated a publishing agreement for the title with Ocean Software before leaving in 1997 to explore new ventures. From 1997-1999 he worked as a senior IT specialist running major Y2K infrastructure projects for Global companies such as Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, City Bank, Worldcom, Glaxo and Chubb Insurance. From 1999-2004 he founded and ran Pocket Studios which grew to be regarded as one of the top 3 handheld specialists in the industry. By the end of the company’s second year of trading he had grown the business to a turnover of $2.6million+ and was developing many of the world’s major movie and comic book IP’s. Highlights include a BAFTA nomination for Alone In The Dark IV and delivering two of Universal Vivendi's highest-selling titles: "The Incredible Hulk" and "Lord Of The Rings" Since 2007 he has been providing strategic consulting services across video games, film/tv and the financial sectors focusing on production management, investment/risk analysis and business development.
