Steve Brody, retired in September 2011, placed over 500 executives in Silicon Valley high tech firms for over 25 years, developing close relationships with leading venture capital firms throughout the Bay Area. In 1983, he joined SalesWorld, one of the nation’s largest privately-held executive search firms at the time. Of 130 recruiters across the country, Steve consistently ranked in the top five. In 1987, Steve was asked to join another boutique firm and was instrumental in their early success. In January 1992, Steve founded his own firm to offer Silicon Valley venture capitalists and high tech companies a more personal and focused approach. With his reputation for finding and closing unattainable and/or inaccessible candidates, Steve has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the Bay Area’s high tech community. He has been a guest lecturer at Stanford University’s School of Business and has been quoted in Fortune and other print and online business publications.
