Summary
A gentle Instigator. I have been involved in the introduction of new software technologies and services for my entire career, from Nortel’s exploratory work in services over Digital Access, through the Nortel entry into GSM Wireless, IOC Custom Development, OO Development for use in Telecom, VoIP as an Access Services technology, SIP-based multimedia, and pursuing the potential of Standards-based IPTV Applications and instigator in the use of REST and webRTC in real-time interpersonal multimedia communications. The last few years - Solution Architect / Product Owner responsible for Bandwidth's Customer Portal and Provisioning and Number Management API surface area. Successful roles range from operational to strategic, from exploratory technology to business management, and from individual contributor to 3rd level R&D manager. Exploratory roles have yielded 12 patents. Specialties: Understanding, promoting and extending the capabilities of emerging technologies.
