See my full bio at http://anyoldgold.com Summary: Currently Managing Director of Trashy Bags which is a social enterprise based in Accra, Ghana. Trashy Bags employs over 60 people to turn plastic trash that is collected from the streets of Ghana into all kinds of cool products like fashion accessories and shopping bags. Trashy Bags sells locally in Ghana but also exports to seven countries worldwide. Originally an architect specializing in development of CAD software. In the 1980s specialized in IT and worked on an online system called Prestel in the UK. In the 1990's worked in field of Collaborative Virtual Environments (CVE). Since then I have developed a number of collaborative web-based systems using back-end database technology and browser based front-end tools. Specialties: I am an architect and computer database specialist with emphasis on back-end database technology and web-based front-end. Nowadays more involved in environmental action with emphasis on climate change issues and pollution especially in relation to Africa.
