Summary
Founder and CEO of Mercari, Inc. which operates the C2C marketplace app Mercari. After graduating from Waseda University, I established Unoh Inc. and later joined Zynga as the General Manager of Zynga Japan. After resigning in January 2012, I spent a year traveling around the world, which lead me to establish Mercari, Inc. in February of 2013. Since our founding, Mercari has reached almost 1,800 employees, with employees from around 40 countries and regions working in our offices in Japan and the US. Mercari also had its IPO in June 2018. With “Create value in a global marketplace where anyone can buy & sell” as our mission, we aim to become a Japan-based global tech company.
