Summary
I am passionate about leveraging machine learning to solve difficult problems in the world. It is the first time in many years that we are seeing algorithms come close to or match human abilities in solving certain classes of problems, like vision, natural language understanding and robotics, among others. Previously, I was in multiple high-tech startups including co-founding OpenAppMkt (acquired by Facebook), co-founding Gabbly (4M+ users and 300,000+ websites.), co-founding Spogger (raised $1.5M in funding), senior technical roles at Remend (acquired by Fidelity), Bitfone (acquired by HP) and product manager at Oracle. On the personal front, I produce and host a radio interview show (very similar to Terry Gross’ Fresh Air) on the Texas Chinese Radio Station, where I interview guests with extraordinary life stories.
