Sunil is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tandem Capital, a 10-year-old seed-stage venture capital firm that leverages its strong network of LPs and corporate partners to disrupt traditional industries and deliver superior returns. Tandem works with exceptional founders to help them tune and scale their market fit. We invest low millions in companies in late stage seed deals to help them find and navigate the knee of your hockey stick growth curve. In the early part of his career Sunil worked at Xerox PARC and HP on language subsystems and then joined Oracle where he was central to the development of PL/SQL and Oracle Application Server during his 8-year career. Then as part of the founding team at Webvan as Vice President of Technology and helped put together a team and a service that was successfully rolled out to many cities. In 2002 Sunil co-founded Business Signatures Corp. As VP of Strategy, Sunil played a key role in every aspect of the business from defining the product, hiring the team, selling, marketing, fund raising to seeing it through to a successful acquisition by Entrust in 2006. Sunil holds a B.S.E.E. from IIT(Madras), an M.S. in CS from Rice University, and an M.S. in Management from Stanford University.
