Summary
After 40 years in the advertising business, I am officially retiring. My first job out of school was a copywriter at W.B Doner in Baltimore. It was Mad Men-esque. I was a Peggy Olsen and the men, while not quite as handsome as Don Draper and Roger Sterling, definitely behaved similarly. My next phase, I went to San Francisco and segued into the digital side and got to ride the insane dot boom and bust rollercoaster. Eventually, I ended up back to Baltimore and started my own agency 11 years ago. It has been a crazy ride in every sense of the word. I used to joke to my women's business group that my dream was to be a Modern Trophy Wife. Throw great dinner parties, travel the world, and win lots of triathlon trophies. And now-- I get to do it full-time!
