Summary
I am Senior Vice President at Farther, where I serve as a portfolio manager and asset allocator at our Institutional business. Our team manages endowment style portfolios for high net worth family offices and nonprofits. Types of nonprofits we have served or advised include university foundations, museum foundations, community foundations and civil rights organizations. I was co-founder of IndiCo Capital, a registered multifamily investment advisory firm based in San Francisco, investing institutionally on behalf of families. IndiCo invests across public, private and alternative assets. We merged our firm with Farther, a VC backed $5B AUM WealthTech company in 2024. I previously worked at Symphony Asset Management, an institutional $20B AUM firm where I served as a Partner, Co-Portfolio Manager and Healthcare lead for almost 16 years. Symphony was acquired by Nuveen, Madison Dearborn and then eventually TIAA. I have been an entrepreneur, having co-founded a biotech startup (2018 IPO), commercializing the invention of a Stanford professor. I am actively serving on Boards and Investment Committees of several nonprofits, including the University of Hawaii Foundation. My institutional investment experience managing multi billion dollar portfolios at Symphony and my Investment Committee roles qualify me as an Audit Committee Qualified Financial Expert, that is required of Corporate Boards. I have extensive Board Governance experience from serving complex boards ranging from a state university foundation to a renowned museum and an iconic refugee organization.
