With over 25 years in technology sales leadership, I've built a career at the intersection of pioneering innovation and aggressive market expansion. My formative years included being European employee #2 at PSINet Inc., the world's first B2B Internet Service Provider, a journey that literally saw us "start the Internet" in 1998 from datacenter hubs across Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, and London. At NTT Communications, I led a Go-to-Market team across five European countries, strategically launching datacenter services and a comprehensive managed services portfolio (storage, servers, security & network), directly contributing to substantial sales success and significant revenue growth. This foundational experience honed my approach as a T-shaped sales professional: combining deep domain expertise in building and scaling technology offerings with a broad understanding of diverse markets and business models. Over the past two decades, I've applied this lens while leading Go-to-Market functions for six distinct venture-backed tech companies, including my own software venture, Mobiya. My international footprint spans residency in the Middle East (edge computing with GIG Technology), orchestrating complex AWS deals in Paris (Sungard AS), and collaborating with cybersec teams like Hoxhunt in Helsinki (embodying 'Sisu'). I've also extensively built from scratch new reseller channels across DACH, Benelux, and France. Presently, I spearhead revenue growth, sales enablement, and go-to-market for Inetum's rapidly expanding cybersecurity business unit. My responsibilities span closing complex enterprise and government deals often exceeding €2M, while concurrently scaling a €28M volume mid-market cybersecurity sales operation with a strategic emphasis on risk management and SOC services. Beyond commercial leadership, I serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to CEOs and executive teams, leveraging my experience to guide strategy and accelerate growth. My passion extends to early-stage investment, having led rounds in 12 startups long before venture capitalists typically engage. In my personal time, I find balance in half-marathon running and am passionately developing a hypermodern elderly care assistance solution in Eeklo – reflecting a deep-seated commitment to caring for people, young and old.
