Summary
Author of bestselling book on Urdu poet like Mirza Ghalib, Have also written books on other Urdu poets, Mir Taqi Mir, Sahir Ludhianvi, Firaq Gorakhpuri and Seemab Akbarabadi. I write poetry in Urdu and translate classical Urdu poetry to English for it to reach the readers who love to read Urdu poetry but struggle with the finer nuances of the language. I was an advertising professional and a software entrepreneur before taking up writing full time. A postgraduate in Advertising and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communications, New Delhi I have also completed my Master's degree in Urdu Literature. In 2020, at the peak of the pandemic, I also documented and published a book of recipes of the food that I love to cook. The book is titled Zayka.
