Tarun is the Practice Leader responsible for Korn Ferry's * North American Technology Executive Search Practice, & * Global Technology & Digital Officers (CTO, Digital, CIO, Data & Analytics, Product, Engineering, Cyber Security) Practice, across all of Korn Ferry‘s offerings. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Tarun leads executive-level searches for technology, digital, board and other functional technology leadership searches across industries. He brings an established track record of helping organizations attract differentiated technology leaders that help elevate the role of technology in the C-suite as well as the board for competitive advantage. Based in San Francisco, Tarun previously spent three years in London building and leading another Global Advisory’s Firms Global Technology & Digital Officers Practice for EMEA. He was also a key founder of that firm’s Global Technology & Digital Officers Practice with a portfolio of work that covers fast moving technology companies; well established global brands and portfolio companies of leading private equity firms. With a global mindset having lived and worked in Asia, North America and Europe, Tarun specializes in helping organizations drive technology-enabled global business transformation and works as a thought partner on digital transformation, organization design and technology led disruption. He combines his entrepreneurial background, global experience and talent focus into a tailored advisory approach. Recent client work has included the recruitment of technology/digital focused board members; Chief Digital, Information & Data Officers; Technology & Digital operating partners for PE firms and strategy consulting firms. Prior to entering the leadership services industry, Tarun was a successful entrepreneur having seen three distinct companies through their founding and eventual exit. He leverages this entrepreneurial mindset to help organizations explore creative and pragmatic solutions for their leadership needs. Tarun holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras and an MBA in international business from The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
