Summary
I had the privilege to “grow up” professionally in some of the most elite technical circles as my foundational tech years were spent at D.E. Shaw & Co., a place that prides itself on being the gold standard in hedge funds and fintech. I was fortunate to learn from some truly brilliant minds, many of whom helped build the bedrock of today’s modern technical world. Then I jumped into the chaos and innovation of dot-com era in Silicon Valley, eventually becoming the guy you “send in to fix broken places” at a consulting firm. I have since started my own company, Tchie Tao Technologies, where I aim to bring high-touch, deeply competent, and human-first IT solutions to businesses that need more than just ticket-takers. Throughout my career, one of the strengths that’s consistently served me well beyond technical skills is my emotional intelligence. I listen to understand, not just to reply. That approach has served me well to trust and deliver real results as both a consultant and a tech leader. I’ve had clients go out of their way to call this trait as one of my biggest strengths, and I take that seriously. At my core, I’m a fundamentals person. I was trained on the technical basics early, and that foundation makes it easier to keep up as new tech evolves. After all, underneath the buzzwords, most things still run on the same essential principles. Let’s build something better together!
