Summary
Over the last 20+ years, Ted has worked in senior global leadership roles that have enabled him to gain valuable hands-on experience in strategy, operations, business development, risk management and investments. Prior to leading Grain's international investments, Ted advised boards, CEOs, and CFOs as a lawyer and banker working for Bryan Cave and J.P. Morgan. He moved from working with high growth telecommunications, media and technology companies in San Francisco to advise and fund strategic initiatives and growth businesses in developed and emerging markets in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Ted served as one of the chief architects in transforming IHS Holding Ltd from a regional managed services company in Nigeria to one of the largest independent developers and owners of telecommunications infrastructure in the world. Ted led the high growth and investment phases as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Investment & Strategy Officer, and Chief Financial Officer -- leading the team that grew revenue from US$100M to more than US$1B.
