Summary
Over the last 17 years in the BC Government, I have worked directly in the core development and implementation of British Columbia's largest economic development initiatives: "Asia Pacific Initiative Business Action Plan" ($40M in new infrastructure, 2008), the creation and renewals of the former government's "BC Jobs Plan" economic platform (2010-2015), and most recently the Province’s “Technology Strategy” (2017-2018). Additionally, during the past four years, I’ve been the Government Lead for Western Canada’s largest technology conference and B.C.’s premier annual event, the "#BCTECH Summit" series (2015-2018), working in close partnership with InnovateBC and in collaboration with industry stakeholders to develop and deliver the Province's most visible event. I am a highly energetic and diversified project director with excellent interpersonal skills who seeks to develop closer bonds between government + industry, and create better programs to service British Columbia's growing economy. My strengths include: • Project management. • Collaboration and teamwork. • Strategic planning and evaluation. • International initiatives, events and trade show planning. • Research and analysis.
