Summary

Goal I am ready to leverage a decades-long passion for all things technological, and for all things natural, organic and renewable; and in serving the public interest. I am a qualified, experienced, and energetic leader. Summary I have 20+ years of experience in business development, and managing people and assets in the private and public sectors, domestically, and internationally. I am a U.S. citizen. I lived a part of my life in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Spain, and the greatest part in California. I communicate well with people of different cultures, languages, and educational and economic levels. I am experienced in public speaking, establishing and maintaining relationships, and in leading, teaching, and training culturally diverse people. My early career focus was on Information Technology and telecommunications, followed by 5 years as the Los Angeles Branch Director of the State of California’s Center for International Trade Development (CITD). At CITD I guided companies on developing international sales, securing government guaranteed finance, transportation and logistics, and customs regulations. For the last 20 years, I have been the General Manager of Directly from Nature LLC, a distributor of health products, where I promote business development by leveraging past experience in business, and technology, to improve business operations and sales. I have experience with negotiations and contracts, establishing distribution channels, business development, public sector grant management and economic development, international transportation, and customs regulations, forming strategic partnerships, marketing, and sales.
