Touseef Ikram is a business graduate with more than 20 years of entrepreneurial experience working with large corporates and startups alike including 7+ years in executive management (CXO/Director) roles with a successful track record of planning, developing, launching & achieving massive growth for multiple products. Currently, he is working with Jang Media Group as an Associate Director of Digital Media. He is part of the core team responsible for the P&L of the multi-billion PKR digital portfolio, new initiatives, and digital transformation of the existing products. He has been able to have more than 10X increase in the digital footprint of the group in terms of reach as well as revenue on various channels including the web, mobile web, mobile apps, social platforms, and messaging services by continuous product innovation, establishing great relationships with technology partners, identifying market opportunities, fueling growth by running very targeted organic & in-organic user acquisition campaigns and retaining them by making data-driven content development decisions. Before this role, he served as a Head of Digital Marketing and later as a Country Manager for KalSoft, a Tier 1 software house in Pakistan & Middle East. He was responsible for 3 business units related to process automation, identity management, and content management. He has been fortunate in having his work get international recognition multiple times from Geo News PWA’s display in 2 consecutive Google I/Os to FB Messenger ChatBot Case Study by Facebook. From getting the South Asian Triple Helix Award on a Gamified Tax Data Analytics of Pakistan project to becoming the sole winner from Pakistan in the first APAC News Innovation Challenge and securing a substantial grant by Google on his subscription-based revenue application using news archives that included AI/AR at its core. He also managed Pakistan's first Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) that attracted over a million users in mere 3 days, increased 649% direct traffic up-lift on average for our partners, and generated RS.133M in sales.
