Summary
Over the years I have been lucky enough to gain experience across the lifecycle of new ventures: from idea to acquisition, and at times failure. I have worked with both venture-‐backed and bootstrapped startups whose exit values resulted in high eight-figure transactions, as well as those whose exit values approximated zero. Most recently, I have developed and taught a unique and successful set of experiential entrepreneurship courses, in a multi-‐disciplinary context. Beyond this curriculum, I have helped to develop nascent entrepreneurship programs at both a Liberal Arts College and a State University. As a researcher, I have executed upon and am in the process of expanding a stream of work that is particularly policy- and practice-focused. My work, often investigating entrepreneurial activities at the intersection of copyright and new technologies, has been cited in major media outlets (e.g., WIRED and the Financial Times) and government venues (e.g., the U.S. House of Representatives and the Congressional Quarterly). Furthermore, I have presented to academic, executive, and policy audiences on multiple continents.
