Summary
Tyler E. Chapman is a highly experienced, aggressive, and practical litigator who represents a wide array of clients involved in complex commercial disputes in both the state and federal courts, from large corporations to closely held businesses and individuals. Recent matters include the representation of a major private equity firm in a suit against a Big Four accounting firm, obtaining summary judgment for a developer in an investor dispute, the successful defense of a $65 million securities litigation arbitration, obtaining a defense verdict in a bench trial (affirmed on appeal) over an easement dispute, and multiple cases involving closely held businesses. Tyler is also a faculty member and member of the civil litigation curriculum committee at MCLE, where he has chaired programs on Closely Held Businesses and Construction Law & Litigation, is the co-chair of the Litigation Committee of the Real Estate Bar Association, is on the Executive Board of the Boston Inn of Court, and has authored recent articles for New England In-House.
