Summary

I have been working on Japan-related issues for over 35 years, of which 20 were spent in Japan. Experience working in PR for a major Japanese corporation, as a financial analyst for major UK brokerage house, as a journalist, as an independent researcher/consultant/editor/translator and doing cross-cultural business training for executives moving to Japan. Bilingual in English/French. Fluent in Japanese. A passion for horses led me to the French Percheron Horse Society. Following several years of volunteer work with them, I worked on a "consultant" basis as their international coordinator for several years. In September 2011, I organised the international end of the Percheron World Congress, a 3-day event in France that was attended by over 55,000 people.Subsequently, I was involved in he organisation of the World Percheron Congress in Des Moines, Iowa (USA) in 2018. I am now using the skills I have acquired to offer an international information and consulting service centred around the French Percheron. More recently, I have been working with Japan to import French skills in working with heavy horses, nd lecturing widely. Photography has been an interest over the years and, in 2015, I had my first solo exhibition on the subject of "Le Percheron Voyageur/The Travelling Percheron" at Ecomusée du Perche, in France. Specialties: Japan-Related Research & Business Consulting, Cross-Cultural Business Training, Japanese to English Translating. French to English Translating. Copywriting. The Percheron horse breed, and the use of draft horses in the modern world. Nature photography.
