Summary
In the 'War for Talent' among Private Equity and Russell 2000 firms I seek a role as a board member, senior advisor, or facilitator of CEO peer advisory groups for portfolio companies. I am a Black MENSA Harvard MBA. Gifted with 17 years of Fortune 500 operating finance experience where I was dubbed an analysis and strategy wizard (includes four years of Exec Comm exposure). Followed with 17 years of SMBE experience including five consecutive years of attending board meetings as CFO and five consecutive years of administering board meetings as CFO with another firm. As a cradle to grave veteran of the minicomputer industry my experience includes hypergrowth, turnaround, M&A, disrupter/transformation, death spiral and start-up scenarios. Real not virtual Value Creation is my credo. I have a high tolerance for uncertainty, ambiguity and conflict. Some of my more unique abilities include so-called 'soft skills' combined with communications excellence. Exposure as an external nonprofit board member includes Finance Committee, Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Nominating Committee experience.
