Summary
I am originally from France and moved to the US in 1998. I have been doing software engineering since the early 80's, first as a hobby (beginning in the era of the TI-99/4A), then professionally for most of my career. I feel very lucky to be one of the founders of LinkedIn, contributing to its success from the very beginning. This was an amazing, rewarding, life changing experience. Since I left LinkedIn (https://www.pongasoft.com/blog/yan/entry/linkedend), I have been concentrating on open source development as well as some personal projects. More recently I have been following a long time passion of mine: electronic music production.
