Summary
I am increasing my knowledge of cyber-security, data privacy protection, information governance and cyber-risk management best practices by completing a MS Degree in Cyber-Security at Georgia Tech. This study keeps me abreast of the strategic issues executives and policy makers are currently dealing with as the risk velocity associated with Cloud Computing, IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Automated Manufacturing keeps increasing. Off the shelf ransomware code and anonymous cryptocurrency services are exacerbating the damage caused by cyber-criminals. I want to help minimize the harm they are causing to society. After completing the privacy course offered at Georgia Tech, I have now passed the IAPP exam and am a certified privacy professional. I am located within the Jacksonville region. Business travel is not a problem, as I have been vaccinated for Covid 19.
