Summary

Yvonne Nomizu is CEO & Managing Director of Pacific Consulting Group, a market research and consulting firm that helps organizations be valuable to their customers, employees and stakeholders. This includes optimizing products, delivering top notch service, understanding customer needs, learning about the market through quantitative surveys, and using analytics to strengthen customer relationships. She is a 25+ year veteran of marketing and consulting positions in several industries, including roles leading new product development, service design, service operations, customer service improvement, innovation and marketing strategy. She started her career in the hospitality business with Westin; then, after earning her MBA at Stanford she worked at Johnson & Johnson managing brands and identifying new pharmaceutical products. Consequently, she applied some of the packaged goods marketing disciplines in the hotel business as Vice President of New Products with Holiday Inn Corporate. As a principal with CSC Index she worked with Fortune 500 companies to redesign service processes to be more efficient and customer-friendly. She was Vice President of the Consulting and Web Design teams at Startups, Inc., a new venture accelerator. Her other startup experience was leading new products at Innoventry, a financial services technology company. More recently, Yvonne was Vice President in Goldman Sachs' investment management division and founder of Sakari Consulting, a customer experience excellence firm. She holds a B.A., cum laude, from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is an active Stanford alumnae, a CX Expert and original coordinator of the CX Innovation Awards for the Customer Experience Professionals Association.
